In a vein somewhat closer to the theme of this board, what are you lookin forward to as far as music this summer? I'm anxiously awaiting the new Bad Religion, Tiger Army, the Rev, and Morrissey. Morrissey will be out this coming Tuesday I believe. I could download, but I'm really looking forward to the new BR and TA and I'd feel like a kid who found a Christmas present or soemthing.

I'm so out of the loop to new bands and album releases.. a friend of mine just picked up the new Nekromantix album and was really disappointed.. said that only 3 songs are worth it and the rest just blend into each other.

They've been playing the new Morrisey song out here on 89X, "Irish blood, English heart". Sounds very...well, like Morrisey.

A new album out by a new band is great! One of the best I have heard in a long time. I can seriously keep this cd on repeat for days, and so can anyone I know who has it.
Eagles of Death Metal's "Peace Love Death Metal"
It's not death metal, it's good ol rockin roll!!!
I give it two thumbs up and a boner!

I always preferred Mad Sin to Nekromantix, Nekromantix always sounded sort of underproduced. Horrorpops new one is great new Psycho, came out a couple months ago.
And its Oliver Cromwell.

hmm...new bands...im always buying older and older shit...dont really keep up, once in a blue moon i get a hold of something new...Call me a loser...but i fuckin LOVE the Darkness...lol, seriously...thats the latest album ive gotten
I burnt out on Nekromantix and Tiger Army years ago...i just cant stand Nick 13s "Davey Havok"-ness.
The entire band died in a car crash in 2002...but if any of you arent familiar with the Exploding Hearts...I HIGHLY recommend...just good solid punk/power pop...it sounds straight out of 77...no joke...even the record tones
